Politicians mess up: Here is a form Complaint.

Dear Ian:

During the last year, my roommates and I have been happy and conscientious tenants.  We keep our apartment clean and pay our rent punctually.

We appreciate your attentive work on the apartments and know you are a concerned and dedicated manager. Regrettably, for the last four months you left the phone lines as the one part of the apartment still in unsatisfactory condition.
           
Fixing the phone lines would allow us to have more than one phone in the apartment and internet access from our rooms.  Having only one phone makes it hard for us when we watch movies or entertain guests in the living room.  If we want to use the phone during these times, one must jump in the girls’ bathroom to hear.

As college students we work on many projects, communicate with our professors and other students through the Internet.  To avoid many long walks to campus to use the Internet, we need our phone lines fixed. 

We believe that communications problems can arise between people and we are confident that we can resolve our issues

We ask you to fix phone lines by Tuesday November 12th.  If the phones are not fixed by November 12th , I will call a professional to come in to fix the phones on the 13th.  I will pay for the bill and then deduct that amount from my next rent payment.
