People need to make plans
Example of an effective plan
In Spring, business school will send me a form asking me to graduate. At that point, I need to go in to a counselor and file for an exception. I will show them what classes I have left to take to graduate. Also, mention my job at graduate periodontics. It seems, they never have denied anyone according to the counselor I talked to (Darker lady with glasses.)
At 225 credits, financial aid will send me a note saying they will no longer lend me money. At that point, I need to go in to the financial aid office. I will show them what classes I have left to take to graduate. Also, mention my job at graduate periodontics.
When filling out my FAFSA in January of 2005, if I claim independent, I can get up to $10,500 in unsubsidized Stafford loans per year. I claim dependent, I can get less Stafford loans, but I can also get Federal PLUS parent loans. So it would pretty much a toss up, except by claiming as a dependent, I can save my mom some money. This is the last year I can claim myself as a dependent.
I should apply to BCC and any other community college as soon as I can as back up. Maybe look into housing etc.
