How to employ politically correct methods to pass legislation

Thank you for your letter regarding the posting of our parking policies.  We believe in continuous improvement and value the concerns of UW students and faculty.

We are currently looking to improve our communication of parking policies, especially in the N2 parking lot.  Your idea to place parking policies under the signs that label each parking lot is a valid idea that we are considering.  We appreciate you bringing this issue to light.

At UW Parking Services, we assign fines based on a policy of fairness.  In order to support equality between all students and faculty we uphold all fines.

In the future, you can find information about parking rules on our website, at many offices around campus and through the booths at all three campus entrances.  I have also enclosed a short summary of the parking policy so you can easily reference it when parking on campus.  Thank you again for you contribution.  I wish you the best of luck with the rest of the quarter.
