The importance of Dentistry

Dentists are very important people to today's American society. Imagine living in medieval times and having to have your teeth pulled without anesthetics or a professional, skilled person to take care of you. Just the locar bar wench and her big, ungainly pair of pliers. She gives you a couple drinks of strong whiskey and then takes one herself and goes to work. I think that we all owe the scientists and physicians who developed dentistry a huge hand. We also should appreciate those who work on our teeth today and the excellent work those men do for us.
